Saudi Surfing Federation

The Saudi Surfing Federation is a sports organization supported by the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee. We are passionate about developing every form of surfing within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we support Saudi surfers around the world.

To support talent, encourage Saudi society to take part in sport, and enable our athletes to compete on the international stage.

Our history

From dream to representing the nation

The Saudi Surfing Federation was established in 2022 under the patronage of the Ministry of Sport, to organize and develop surfing and water sports across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Federation launch and the beginning of the dream
The start of the journey — laying the foundation for a distinctive presence in surfing.
2024
First Asian Games quota secured
A major milestone confirming the federation's development and opening the door to stronger Asian competition.

Second Asian Games quota secured
Continued progress — a new step reflecting the growth and consistency of the journey.

Asian Games qualification and representing the nation
The peak of the journey — pride and honour as efforts culminated in qualification and representing the Kingdom.
